How do I get paid?
Each artist is responsible for their own business. We don't handle the money between you and your client. They can pay you by mailing a check, or using Paypal...or however you tell them to pay. Payment is between you and your client. All communication is handled between the artist and client directly and privately. You determine your own pricing and payment terms, or agree to the budget the client has to offer. It is that simple to get work immediately! Most artists use PayPal to receive funds and most clients will want to pay you via Paypal since it is secure, direct, immediate, and the most known, but a few individuals or businesses may offer to send a check in the mail.
*We recommend being paid at least 60% of the total before beginning any work. The cartoonists who developed this site will not begin work for less than 100% of the total payment for any online assignment. And be wary of scams! Many exist where the client will request sending you more than enough money to begin the job, only to ask you to refund a portion of it, or for you to pay someone else. If you do, you are sending your real money in place of their "fake" money that will take days for the pay services to find fraudulent. By then the scammer has your real money and you will never hear from them again.
